Tradeit fees explained
Updated 2026-08-14
Fees and price differences depend on the transaction and the selected items. That sentence is deliberately plain, because a single headline percentage would misrepresent how instant trading works. We do not publish a fixed fee number for Tradeit, since the platform sets prices per item and per transaction rather than charging one advertised rate on every swap.
Where the cost actually appears
- The spread. The value credited to the skin you give is lower than the price charged for the skin you receive. That difference is the real cost of the trade.
- Deposit method. Paying with cards, crypto or other providers can carry processing costs set by the payment provider, not by the trading site.
- Cash-out route. Converting items to money adds a second conversion. Every conversion has its own price.
- Item liquidity. Unpopular, badly worn or rare-pattern items usually get a worse spread because they are harder for the platform to move on.
A simple test before every trade
- Note the value Tradeit assigns to the item you are giving away.
- Note the price it charges for the item you want.
- Look up both items on a marketplace-style site to see the going rate.
- The gap is what instant delivery costs you. Decide whether the speed is worth it.
For very small trades the gap is usually trivial. On expensive knives or gloves it can be substantial, which is why our review recommends patience for high-value cash-outs and instant trading for clearing an inventory quickly.
Withdrawal costs
Withdrawal terms differ by method and region and are set by the platform and its payment partners. Check the current withdrawal screen before depositing — we deliberately do not publish specific withdrawal percentages here, because quoting a number we have not verified would be worse than quoting none.
